Located on the outskirts of Pretoria, on the road to Bronkhorstspruit, lies one of Gauteng’s oldest clay pigeon clubs. Under new ownership, we were asked to transform the old clubhouse into a space that could be suitable for a variety of different events, from hosting the club championships to elegant wedding receptions. Primarily a gentlemen’s club, we created a small lounge for the exclusive use of the members where a fireplace sets the ambience for cold winter days and whiskey can be enjoyed on soulful leather sofas. On warm summer days the bar, with its gun capped facade, is the place to pick up a beer after a long day on the clay pigeon shooting range before heading to the deck to admire the rolling hills of the Lowveld.
