This luxurious fishing villa, designed for deep-sea fishing getaways, is perched atop an arid mountain range in the secluded bay of Barr Al Jissah. Only a 30-minute drive from Muscat, the stark landscape is juxtaposed against the calm sea and there’s a sense of peace in the air. A real, raw beauty exists here which we wanted to be the star of the design, especially on the outdoor terraces with their 360 degree views of that stretch for miles and miles. All the rooms have magnificent views out onto the ocean or the mountains. The deep blues and maritime decor speak to the ocean while the jute rugs and timber elements call back to the earth. Subtle metallic pieces speak to the richness of the earth.
